PS4: Square, (nor going to Travel > Map) doesnt bring up my map

Steps:
1. Press square (or go to travel, then press Map)
2. No map comes up. My cursor still functions as if a map was present and taking up my screen, but there isn't. Cursor sound still plays and everything. If tried adjusting transparency and zoom and nothing changes
