The best way to learn a fight is to do it without explaining anything and let him learn himself.

You know, that's the same approach a lot of people take nowadays in Castrum Meridianum runs with the cannons.

You know what that resulted in? A lot of painful Stone Vigil HM and Steps of Faith runs (and nowadays, probably add Alexander T2 runs to that) with people who are absolutely clueless on how to use the cannons.

Your approach would have some merit if it was shown to actually work well. In practice though, I don't really think it does, at least not with all sorts of "trial and error" encounters in this game.
