I can definitely sympathize with the OP. I'm not really looking forward to doing the level 50 MSQ stuff at all, once my new character reaches that level. It was hideously boring the first time around, and I'm sure it will be even more mindnumbing the second.

Or just unlock AST for your main and skip doing all that again?

I quit just before the ROG/NIN patch (though my sub had been paid out for a year, so it continued on for some time and I logged in for holidays lol), so I'd still have an awful lot to do. Plus my husband and I are releveling together, on a completely different server. There are a lot of reasons I don't want to just get AST on my old main.

Given that those two were posted three months ago, I'd say that the OP could have used that time to finish the entire 2.X and 3.0 MSQ.

I didn't play "months before the expansion came out". I played for 2 or 3 weeks. And no where on their website did they make it known.

Do you not read patch notes or watch or read summaries of the live letters?

Three months ago? They were both posted last month, during July. Do you know how numbers work? 7 is just before 8. 3 months ago would have been May, the 5th month.

Regardless, 3.5 weeks has been enough time to be caught up with every body else. People who started 2-3 weeks ago are already LV60.

You gave up pretty early, don't you think? You'd be bitching and moaning about not clearing Bismark or Ravana EX like most other players at this point.

That's good for them, but I don't play all day. I have a full-time career and responsibilities.
