A game that is heavy on lore and story wasn't hint that you might need to finish all of it to do 3.0 content ?

Honestly I get it. As much as I love the story line, and me, myself had to rummage through over 100 MSQ's to catch up (which took a week of casual play) SE needs to really make a short-cut. I know several people who seriously got turned off by having to do all the stupid Fetch Quest and pointless A > B ones.

SE whould go through the quest, find the valid ones. (The ones that actually matter to the story) and condense them with an option if the player so wants. Therefore allowing the player to still see the story and be a part of it, while avoid all the not needed filler crap you have to go through to get to 3.0. Lets be real, Out of 100 of the MSQ you need to do (More like 150) only about 15-20 are even important or NOT filler.

As someone who recently had to go through this I commend you for requesting a refund. I have time so I could easily get through the content and I read up on games a lot so I knew what to expect. They cannot continue to gate expansions behind 100 quests at a single level. Which by the way won't by itself even get you to 51 through quests alone. What are they going to do when the next expansion comes and the one after that? Allow those who like stories to continue on with those quests and others the ability to unlock the expansion after a reasonable amount of effort. 100 quests is excessive and not at all reasonable.

I had 2 people in my FC go through this who hit 53 before getting expansion so.. I don't believe you that they won't hit 51 doing it.

There are around 100 quests they give 4,800 exp a piece. I believe level 50 required somewhere around 800,000 exp so over half a level. I don't remember any of the dungeons or trials giving exp. I did hit 51 but the quests alone didn't get me there.
