There are also fights, where the buff is 100% guaranteed to fall off. And that's also fine. Just suck it up, and try to think of smarter timings of the buff, rather than what I assume is just playing like it's a dummy fight and then being disappointed over and over again when it isn't.
This sounds all fine and good, until you get hit by unavoidable damage that interrupts your cast and you lose all your stuff. The problem isn't avoidable things -- you learn to keep 100% uptime while doing all that, and letting the buffs drop at the right moment. The problem is interruptions based on pure RNG that you can do nothing about.

Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.

Don't feel bad. I was kicked from Dusk Vigil because I kept tanking as a NIN lol...

The AST kept blaming me for not controlling my dps, even after I stayed behind the DRK AND waited for him to pull. After I said, "...breh!", I was kicked.

I hate when stuff like that happens. I had a tank that couldnt hold hate for nothing. Every boss fight of the dungeon Fraactal I would wait about 2 gcds from pull, quelling strikes and do my opener as BLM. We both had i200 weap and he had better gear all around( I switched to blm after gearing up nin so my blm isn't really geared in a lot of 190 etc yet). b4 I could finish the opener every boss is coming on me wacking me in the face and Im just lookng at my timers and dps go down...and sighing in disappointment lol.

Eh, maintaining GL3 as a monk was nowhere near as bad as maintaing eno while dealing with mechanics imo.

My NIN is only Lv53, though. Still iLv130 in Dreadwyrm/Peotic stuff and Zeta. The tank was Lv58+ with some blue gear and one Lv58 Ring.

The timing of AF is so tight it seems like no one at SE actually played 60 BLM prior to release beyond hitting a dummy.

Tight? AF is probably the most forgiving timer I've experienced. You can let off a Fire One .5 seconds after AF3 wears off and you'll "refresh" AF3; you can do the same with Enochian and Blizz 4 btw.

I can't count the number of times that Blood of the Dragon has like 1 or 2 seconds left and as soon as I select Wheeling Thrust/Fang and Claw, it goes dark as SOON as the ability is selected. Same goes for GL stacks.

blood of the dragon dont need 4.5-5.5s of uninterupted cast time to refresh itself atleast
