I think that's kind of the point; People want it to be able to regain momentum for the party.

Personally, I disagree. I think it would be too OP if it acted like a legitimate second chance. I think it functions well, in the sense that it can save a party if everyone plays perfectly in some cases. Besides, having to use Healer LB3 is a red flag from the start anyway.
