People really need to stop using "go level other classes" as example of new content. There is hardly anything new about doing the same exact dungeons I did leveling all the other classes before over and over and over. Part of the issue is that the dungeons are repetitive and some people's idea of new content is to run those same dungeons again....and again....and again....until I have all classes to 60 and start the repetitive gear treadmill again.

Also, this is an rpg, and call me old school but to me RPGs are about developing your character which is something that conflicts directly with the "be any class and any time" idea of FFXIV. That's more like a MOBA than a RPG. Another element of RPG missing is customization so you can develop YOUR character. My whm is identical to everyone else's whm. There's nothing special about my character that makes it mine. It might as well be a premade hero like in DOTA.

The main problem with the game for me right now is the chore feel of it. The expansion launched what? 2 months ago? and we already have gotten 4 different sets of lvl 60 gear which are obtained by repeating dungeons (or hunts) over and over. It doesn't really leave much time to enjoy anything else about the game. Worse, it makes you feel like I am working for nothing; that my armour is about as valuable as vendor gear, waiting to be replaced on the next zone or dungeon.

Give us time to enjoy our gear, give horizontal progression, options, something to make our characters feel our own and not just another premade template.
