If something exclusive becomes nonexclusive, then it was SE who decided whether or not players who were not originally there "deserved" it. Oh I agree, they have the authority to make it non-exclusive. That doesn't mean they won't consider how a good portion of their fanbase would feel. Simply good business.

I was in 1.x beta. It was bad. I played till about 1.12 it was really bad... they talked about legacy. I got my hubby a copy for 9.99 at Walmart. we paid for 3 months. We got our legacy status.

How about we just get other tattoos added that can be obtained in game. The mog station is once again unnecessary, and the legacy tattoo should remain legacy only.

I just want the tattoo to be account based like the legacy chocobo. I started a new character in 2.0 on a server with friends who were new. I get bummed out every time someone brings up the tattoo.

Yeah. I do not see how it would really be detrimental to your gameplay though.

It's not really about impacts on gameplay, it's about the kind of message SE sends to players, so it's ultimately a PR thing. They said it would be exclusive as a reward for playing during the rough times of 1.0, and sticking with that decision will do more to garner goodwill from consumers than adding it as a purchasable item in the shop because some new players want it too. Simple as that.

I can understand you want a tattoo but just ask to SE to add this feature in character customization like we have already asked it since 1.0!!

Concerning legacy tattoo, just no, or take some 1.0 gifts we received before the 2.0 like the fact our total Gils was / by 10 for example or certain ruined efforts like the weapon relic etc etc

We need tattoos and the possibility to choose the part of the body to put it on but ps3 limitations? server limitation? It's like beards, we can't choose what we want cause it's glued to a certain face only...., or horns or "put what you want" we need more options and fun.

If you wanted legacy items so bad you should have played version 1 with the rest of us.

I am a completionist and I hate when things are gated from me for good, but I believe the tattoos are something only legacy people should have (I am not legacy).

as a Legacy player I am really surprised and grateful that the majority of people are against this. 8 pages of this stuff in only a few hours I think it's time to let this thread die.

Stuff like new tattoos sure yes the legacy? NO don't care the reason why some want this (cough RP reasons) its something SE gave us to recognize our desire to continuing to play a game that was way under cooked to see the new beginning. If you can't understand that then that's your problem but they will never put it up for others.
