The tattoo didn't require any monetary expense outside of buying the initial game and making a character. I never paid for any sub time and I didn't even know about the legacy campaign until it was too late to start paying for it and yet my original character still has the tattoo.

The tattoo was literally just for existing during 1.0. You could have made a character on day one and never played it after that and they would have gotten the tattoo.

So does my original character on my old account. When ARR dropped I started fresh on a new account as I barely even got to do anything in 1.0 before RL picked up.

I don't have Legacy status but seriously, no. Players who have this mark deserve it. It proves they given 1.0 a go and did technically pay for it. Sure I would love it and the Legacy chocobo but I wouldn't have earned those things so yea no. Its special and exclusive to players who been there since 1.0 and it should stay that way.

The only thing I want to see is the mark to be added account wide rather than single characters, granted the Legacy chocobo is account wide so I can be glad about that. But let us not bring that in otherwise people will want that as well.
