FC Housing Squatters/Bots?

So I was browsing the housing with my gf for housing, and I noticed that (in Ul'dah, she says this is in other locations as well) a certain tag <<PURE>> was appearing repeatedly (see image). This was rather irritating, but I decided to look it up on the Lodestone to see if they really needed that.
What I found was about 9 similarly named FC's all with that tag, and all but 1 with only 1 member, all identical looking Lala with low-level (25 or less) classes with no GC affiliation.
Clearly someone's intent was to squat or just irritate people, but nothing is being done with these plots.
There's no way this is exclusive to these guys, and I'm wondering if we can report it somehow? I just want to get a house for my small FC (nobody likes to join FC's that don't have one, no matter how cool the members are B]) but people like this are making already difficult house hunting so AGGRAVATING >.<

Basically it's a crappy player/fc taking up more land than they need. There's a few crappy FCs on each server that do this, with no regard to other players and the limited housing that has been implemented.

And it's just ridiculous. There should be some way for SE to be like "Hm, yeah this looks suspicious, let's undo this."

Looks to me more like RMT is involved based on the description of the FC memberships and quantity of housing/plots stockpiled. Probably worth SE investigating, looking into the FC leaders income or financial history also if possible.

I have seen these lala's and yes they are bots. Ran into one in the black shroud the other day. was a lala botanist and they were position hacking to every tree.

I'm pretty sure its one "legit" player with a bunch of bot alt FC's he uses to make gil.
If you look at one of those FCs you'll see a name that doesn't look like the rest. That's his main, I haven't reported it cause I don't feel like anything would really be done.

It might be worth reporting, if SE checks and finds links to botting going on for the account owner who could have used same credit card details across multiple alt botting accounts or a bot alt being caught on same account as main then SE could potentially ban the account and release the houses from the banned players account(s). SE could probably also check financial history of the characters to track where the gil came from to a certain degree and possibly result in few less cheaters in the game combined with few more plots becoming available again. It is possible SE might find nothing to validate RMT/botting on the account but worth reporting just in case.

I was gathering a couple weeks ago and saw a character with Grandmaster of the Land title, clearly botting on miner. I reported, and that person appears to have been absent from the game since less than 24 hours later.

You should always report these. I've been surprised how good SE is about responding to these kinds of reports.

Personally what I do is blacklist the person and then report them. Every now and then I look at my blacklist to see whether they are (Deleted) or not. About 2/3 of the time they are.

Lack of reporting is the reason these people are allowed to continue abusing the game. The least SE can do is nothing. The most they can do is actually fix it, and there's a good chance they will.

Things are being done, a formerly "server first" FC on Leviathan has been taken down in the past week or so due to botting by some of its members. I don't know if the plots will be released upon SE taking action but imagine how great a service you'd be carrying out if they did! =)

I sent a report on this around a year ago. Maybe it wasn't submitted to the correct authority, I'm not sure. But I got curious about whether any change had been made and was disappointed to see that as of yesterday, nothing's been done so far. It would be quite satisfactory for this particular group of land plots to be made available to Free Companies who would actually be using them for more than one player's alts or bots.
