Problem with a duty

Pretty standard. "Fire and blood", a boss with some adds and healers.

Problem is boss drops multiple ground dot and he's ranged. I'm a monk and i can't kite it out of the dot. If i try to dps it i just die.

What should i do?

I'm not familiar with monk quests as mine is only lvl 21 but the healers have to die asap, id imagine :3

I can handle the adds. The healers die fast enough not to be a problem and the others i can kite out of the dot. The boss just sits in it and i can't kite it out because he's ranged.

Also this is for story, not a class quest.

Oh that one >.< Yea i hated that quest and I did it as a ranged dps :P Can you interrupt him at all to get him to move?

Oh god I remember that fight and it was annoying for me as a healer. Unfortunately I was not a melee class when I did it so I can't really offer advice on what to do. I did find a video of a Monk doing it though so you can get an idea of what to do though.

The guy ignored the healers for the larger part.

Besides that i think he's better geared and he used more cooldowns. I'll see what i can do.

Turns out i started making progress after learning to kite the big ball of red doom.

Cooldowns helped and i finished.
