Visa Prepaid Card and FFXIV

Ok so...

A week ago, I got a $15.00 prepaid card and switched to a rechargable card on my service account.


I put the new information to make sure there would be no interruptions in my service. The card was accepted.

Then, today, my service account suddenly ended.

I checked and saw that my service account had ended. An error has occured is the email I got.

I enter the card again, got all the way to the end, an error has occured.

ok, maybe I did something wrong?

I check the card online to see if something was wrong. Maybe the activation of the card took extra out outside the initial $5.00? (Paid $20.00 - 5.00 for a chargable card)

and I find out that it's that each attempt took out $1.00 and never refunded it. So, that's $3.00 out.

Does anyone know what to do in this scenario? I don't wanna go and put $5.00 more on this but I feel like money got taken out without ever being put back in. These are usually temporary charges.

Hmn, I had asked if they think I could use it for a reoccuring fee, and they said it wouldn't be a problem (At the store.) Mind you, I understand this is a second hand source. I'll take a look at the information a bit more.

I've heard of people using prepaid cards a lot This actually worries me enough to make me pause a moment. Is there any confirmation from others with experience in this ?

I had this problem and was told that your currency would differ in other countries, in other words i had less then $15 dollars where i should of had 18-20.
Question is, whats your currency

USD, living in the US. It should be only $15, but I think the $1.00 authorization screwed it up...

If you were buying the $15 subscription with exactly $15 on the card, yes, the authorization charge would cause an NSF on the actual payment.
That said, unless the prepaid company is run by complete crooks (which wouldn't surprise me, actually) the charges should be reversed within a week.
