This ^^^ is literally all I thought when I read your post. (Spoilers to reduce post size only)
Also robots seem rather out of place to be a race IMO seeing how Mammets are the closest/most common thing the average Eorzian will have to compare with.

They would not seem "out of place." to me.
I didn't think Bahamut cares who visits him for one, and I have completed the MSQ. Your sayings are rather bigoted and bloated with useless hate to push a point I just don't see.I can see you have not even stepped foot in Azys Lla yet. Once you get to Azys Lla and do all the main story quest, you will understand why Allagan's can never be a warrior of light and how the dragons would be able to tell an Allagan from any other being on Hydalen; specifically the Main Scenario quests "Fetters of Lament." I advise you to finish the Heavensward MSQ before you return to this thread to further embarrass yourself with trying to push this idea when you haven't even finished the MSQ.
I also advise you to complete the Binding Coil's of Bahamut as the story in it details the Allagans tampering and systematic imprisonment of dragons.
After you've done that; THEN you can come back and answer your own question of HOW the dragons could tell an Allagan from any other being.
Also, as I said before. This is a race created from Allagans, not Allagans themselves. They would probably smell the same as you if you wore full Ironworks besides the human sweat, which would be covered by your companions. They probably wouldn't care and consider you inferior anyways until you proved yourself which you had to do. I really don't think the dragons care what or who you are, elezen, or dragoon they hate both those things but at least listened when we did not attack.
If anything, the "new" race would be prisoners themselves because they would be working as slaves on the ship.
I think you need to learn to "read" my thread a bit before replying further. =P Maybe you could also be a bit nicer about it too![]()

Also because I haven't seen it mentioned.
Can the allagan infuse them with a soul / soul equivalent in order to allow them to receive the blessing of light and also harness the power of the echo? You also need to take into account how costly this process would be in regards to how feasible this would be for them to make more than a handful.
Personally I feel if they can't explain how they do either of those then you can't have them be a warrior of light but I could see them being NPCs no problem

How do you know they weren't prisoners or once people themselves placed inside the body? Also because I haven't seen it mentioned.

From what I gather the only humaniod non-monster like allagan creations I can recall seeing have been either clones or puppets, which both have the issue of souls not being 100% guaranteed.
I suppose they could be prisoners but it seems unlikely as they seem to have focused more on primitive creatures/monsters which you can argue means they either didn't have the knowledge yet or didn't have the resources for more humanoid creations with higher functions and intelligence to the point of attaining qualities one attributes to a soul on a large scale and clones/puppets were more cost effective.
In regards to your second point I suppose that would work seeing ascians can do similar things but I believe the issue would then come when the character died because then the "occupant" would be released as it was not their original vessel thus reattaching them isn't as simple? My lore on how death works needs a refresher to make a more solid argument on this one.

Then the question would be: how were they able to stay functional and keep their sanity for over 5000 years (or 3000... the Allag's "disappeared" around 1000-5000 years ago)? How would they wind up in the three starting cities?
As neat as a robot thing would be (so long as it looks nothing like the 6 current playable races), there's too many questions...

So then how do they reactivate and remain active? What keeps them alive when there's no power sauce nearby? What keeps them from killing themselves once they discover they're no longer a {race}?

We find them sleeping in the raid and we awaken them when we beat the big boss. Self-Perseverance will keep them and anyone from killing themselves however they still have ways. What about Aether?
The Au Ra came in the late parts of ARR. So no it does not make sense. They were mostly some place else before that, and honestly if they are such an advanced forms who is to say one did not escape its slumber early and masquerade among-st people? That doesn't make sense, though. New players, this including new races, all start at the very beginning of ARR, which is before Binding Coil or anything Allagan related. It doesn't make sense for us to wake something up that then goes back in time to five years after the Calamity.
