Yeah.. you must have been a Cutscene skipper. It's Ishgardians that SOME dragons hate.. Not Elezens as an entire race. And only ONE dragon had a seething hatred for them, and that was Nidhogg. And we put an end to him. If you had bothered to watch any of the cutscenes you'd find out that the war against Ishgard and Dragons died when we killed Nidhogg. Now it's an internal war within Ishgards hierarchy and Ascians that we have to worry about.

You can't really call someone a cutscene skipper since you seemed to forget or skipped the cutscene in which Nidhogg took over Estinten, regaining his physical form, thus meaning the war between Nidhogg and Ishgard isn't over in the slightest.

Your point doesnt tell why the dragons would not trust a living allagan.

Again for dragons, there is no difference between an allagan and dragons. Also since those 2 are "men", the events implied that dragons have reasons to not trust all man, no matter if its even a miqote or a lalafell.

Dragons are eternal; they do not forget. The only dragons that we'd know of who have true interacitons with The Allagans are the ones of Meriycida, which are unfortunately either wiped out or are already driven insane from their thousands of years of containment. With the exception of Tiamat which is so overcome with grief for what she had done with Bahamut that vengeance is far off her radar.

Dragons in general are not any less trusting of man due to the events of the Dragonsong war, but that's far far from being the only reason why allagans (or their creations) can't realistically be a player character without making MSQ events exclusive to them.

With the exception of "baby" dragons, I get the impression that most dragons are at the very least indifferent towards the Spoken races in general. That doesn't mean that they hate them, just that they don't like them. Best example I can think of is those loyal to Hraesvalgr. You need to atleast prove yourself to those dragons to get them to like you.


Then you have those dragons that ABSOLUTELY hates the spoken races, but they seem to be relegated to Nihoggs crew.

Like a outcast robot who built a whole city of robots have a different cutscene when they are chosen of them being built and given a soul would be pretty cool.

A new problem, but one that has been stated before: The Echo. When someone with the Echo is killed, they take over the closest living creatures body and are reborn anew. With a robotic race, does this mean they become human again? or do they go through the painful process of replacing flesh, bone and organs into what makes them robotic? If they can only take over what is the same as them, then... I'm sorry, but this race can NEVER work.

I don't see how they can feel pain like we would. I imagine they could only when they have a complete body. If someone stabs you irl for example and it hits a nerve you actually don't feel much of anything. I imagine during that process of self-repair you would gather aether/metal/materials around you to remake your body.

Also, matter can't be destroyed.
