Aryvandaar - English-speaking endgame linkshell for casual players

Aryvandaar is a social linkshell (Lodestone) created to gather intellectual and casual players in one place and allow for easy access to endgame content (primals, coil of Bahamut, etc.) without the need to join random parties, a free company, or "static groups".

Short version for how recruitment works: Click me (we do it the EVE way).

    Long version:
    Ideally, you should be
    • able to speak English the proper way:
      • When you're too stupid or too lazy to write words out, then this is not for you.
      • Grammar reference sheet.
      • Your spelling doesn't need to be flawless, but you should put some effort into it.
      • Writing things like "u", "ur", or substituting words with numbers (fully or partially), is the fastest way to get kicked again.
      • "won't" and "wont" do not have the same meaning. The same goes for "I'll" and "ill" and quite a few other words.
    • a casual player,
    • intellectual,
    • mature,
    • friendly,
    • interested in endgame-content (obviously),
    • and social (as in engage in conversations.. We have quite a few of those.. Some dirty ones (almost exclusively, actually) and some more intellectual ones)..

What we absolutely do not want are elitists (in terms of gameplay). When you look for players and make requirements like
    • must have cleared it x times (x being an arbitrary natural number, excluding zero),
    • must be fully experienced,
    • fails result in kicks,
    • bla bla bla...
then by all means, go away.
Update: To clarify this point: Forming and advertising farm parties is allowed, but you should also be willing to help those that have yet to clear that content.

What we also don't want or have is:
    • Static teams (being forced to be online at specified dates or times is against my very understanding of casual gameplay),
    • Leecher
    • Gear- or progress requirements (apart from being level 50 with at least one class).

If this is to your liking, then contact me or one of our officers (see FAQ below) in-game. Should you have any (remaining) questions, then feel free to contact (thread, private message, in-game) me and we'll sort them out.

    FAQ
    • How is this linkshell supposed to work?

When someone wants to do something (e.g. Ramuh extreme), he can ask in the linkshell for help and a party can be formed with linkshell members where requirements like "full experience, etc." do not apply.
These players can then beat the content at their leisure (or die horribly) and (hopefully) have some fun in the process.

While joining parties is not (and won't be) mandatory, it is encouraged. This community can only (truly) thrive when people are helping each other.

    • Who can I turn to for questions or a linkshell invite?
Lodestone link. Contact any linkshell leader and do mention the linkshell name "Aryvandaar" to avoid confusion.

    • Do you have a voice server?
A Teamspeak3 server is available, should the need for it arise.
The use of it is not, and won't be, mandatory.

    • How do you deal with players that only ask for help and never provide anything in return (e.g. Leecher)?
We do a 'purge' on a regular basis and remove everyone that is
      • doing nothing at all, despite being constantly online,
      • only asking for help while never providing anything in return,
      • or for other, here unlisted, reasons.
    • Can players that have been removed rejoin the linkshell at some point?
Players that have been removed from the linkshell will have their names added to a list stating the reason why they have been removed.
Based on the there listed reason for removal, we may deny them a new linkshell invite.

    • I am looking for a static group. Is this linkshell for me?
There are no statics here, nor will there be. All we provide is a community where people can ask other people to run things together.
