Discussion: Ability to switch GCs and maintain pvp rank

If SE is not going to remove GC restrictions to let us play with our friends, at least don't punish me 45 Pvp ranks for switching to play with them. Pvp rank should have nothing to do with a set GC... Regardless, I know that this has been discussed before occasionally, but if anyone has any new inputs with the new Pvp map and plans for pvp in the future, we may be able to convince them eh?

Its there to sstop you from getting a rank for an achievement, then just bouncing to the other 2 to get the achievements there.

In short, Is your present rank worth more to you than playing with your friends.

It is a fair tradeoff - you shouldn't even be able to switch...if anything, allow people to switch once EVER if they have a change of heart - it is far too easy to GC hop as it is.

I forgot about the achievements, that's a good point... But do people actually plan on farming rank 50 all 3 GCs and mounts etc when you can only use them as that GC? I'd rather they just make the achievements "obtain rank 50 in pvp" etc

I agree...it takes a fairly long time to get your ranks up and to have to do it three times just for achievements is going to take me being at the end of the game someday and having nothing else to do...at that point I would consider quitting. I think they should let you move and keep your rank at a cost of some type...Maybe it loses your "other" achievements or something so you can't get them all. But people need to be able to play with the people they want...that is the whole point of the game.
I am loving Seal Rock and I am not a HUGE PvP person...it is very fun though. Go Adders!!!!!!
