I got my sch to 60 for savage. huge noticeable difference in A1s from astro to sch. its VERY fun class.. but sadly cant compete with the other healers let alone take up a raid spot from one. They are far from ok. they need help. I love the class and have spent my eso weapon for it. I am hoping it gets buffed and beleive in the class but right now as a pretty competent healer I can say for a fact astro is NOT fine. Stop with this vlady your hurting astro more than helping it. it NEEDS attention from SE and your telling them it doesnt.

This AST need help with
- Only 3 healing cooldowns, Essential Dignity, Synastry, and Collective Unconscious (which is only healing when under Diurnal sect).
- Cards can be very underwhelming.
- We can't see party members' TP, making Spire hard to use without some form of voice chat or typing mid-fight.
- Spear requires us to know what cooldowns other party members have or haven't used to be really effective (which is hard without voice chat or typing mid-fight).
- No way of increasing their own Healing Potency other then being in Nocturnal Sect, which has no synergy with SCH.
- Time Dilation and Collective Unconscious have no synergy with Nocturnal Sect.
- Collective Unconscious can mess up Tanks' stuns.
- Combust II and Combust have a 12 second gap in between them.
- Disable can easily be wasted on an auto-attack.
- Stella is a really weak DPS option and is only useful for running away in PvE (PvP is a whole other thing, though).

I leveled all 3 of my healers. I would queue df Alex normal and get paired with another ast and while it is "ok" I would wish I was on my scholar or whm. They just don't have the emergency tools of whm or the dps potential of a scholar.

Once after wiping 3 times to enrage in a1 at 10% (no deaths) with another ast I asked them to kick me so I could come back on my scholar. I did and we one shot it. Dps was not pulling their weight, this is true, but the fact I could make up this difference as a scholar speaks volumes.

I don't expect ast to do the same dps but give us something to make up for lack of healing output of whm and mediocre buffs. At least let our hots stack so one ast can clerics more.

I leveled SCH some time ago, too, yet I havn't seen that much of differences, except that one can cleric stance longer, thx to selene, which in fact is quite a difference..hmhm. Guess you have a point, didnt mean to offend either,it's just that, as of late I've seen too many ppl posting w/o having leveled to class past 52 (or even past 50..). Guess one could say once bitten, twice shy P:

its ok . i started noticing already at lvl 50(i used to main SCH before heavensward). And particularly in the vault(57) last boss for AST was literally hell, there is just too much healing and too much MP needed, and if people do some mistakes then it becomes really hard. With SCH its really easy while sometimes it gets slightly challeging. And about the trash mobs..I just adlo, pop cleric stance and dps. i probably do 3-4 times more dps with SCH than AST on trash mobs, and have zero mp issues. I also get a lot more commendations for saving people's asses with SCH than i used to get with AST :/ thanks for 3 lustrates. though it makes me sad, i prefer playing AST.
