    Fetter Ward doesn't work?

    Grants immunity to Stun etc.

    On a few occasions, latest today, Fetter Ward has not worked. 3-5 secs after activated I'm getting slept, stunned, heavyd, bound and whatnot. Like there is some kind of latency on the effect. Any one else experience this?

    On a different note, some players seems to have an eternal stun immunity. I've recognized a few players that never gets stunned (lol). Even when I sneak up and shoulder tackle them while they are on their mount. According to the game they have no immunity on, so wth?? Am I missing some mechanic here?

    Resistance, if stuns don't kill you, you build a lot of resistance quickly, I know, I am a whm I get hit with everything.

    Yes, I know about the built up resistance but doesn't that fade with time?

    Edit: I usually get hit a decent amount too, but the few times I resist something I also notice the resistance doesn't last forever.

    As a Paladin who has died after using Hallowed Ground in PvP, yes, this occurs regularly. You need to consider that their tends to be a .5 to 2.5 second delay between what a player sees on screen and what the server knows is happening and the reverse. If you have high latency with the server then it is not surprising that a stun will hit when you are immune if the server received the stunning before it received your Fetter Ward.

    If a target takes and survives 3 stun attacks they will be immune to stuns for about a minute. You just happened to shoulder tackle them during that minute.

    That sound fair, it's just those times I notice it I can't imagine them being in battle for a while. I don't question it in a huge skirmish. However, how the flow of time feels during PvP may be a bit off, so, shrug.

    Fetter ward have to be a latency problem. It probably depends on what action the server deems to happen 1st. But when getting slept after I've had it active for about 5 secs doesn't feel fair.

    Yes to this. I feel a latency hiccup with CDs and buff/debuff application compared to the UI display. Fetter Ward's is actually not even as insufferable as Purify's. If I Purify a debuff too quickly, sometimes it won't register. Even if you wait until after the visual animaton & the on-screen text display + debuff icon, the purify may not remove the debuff. Have to find that sweet spot that's waiting a half-breadth after visuals + heads-up display then use - IMO better to err on the side of caution. Because it really sucks having Purify wasted, or Fetter Warding after popping something like BotD / Perfect Balance / Raw Destruction etc than have the enemy stun stick to you regardless

    Watch how many healers pop Attunement and die. So either I was dead before I took the damage and it didn't go off. Yet it is always on cool down after.

    For the stun I would watch to see if lots of people are using it. Also if you are getting some lag you may not even see a 1 second stun. Some stuns seem to be instant but its enough when you are trying to heal. But you wouldn't notice it on anything but a caster.
