Armoury Chest Space

Why hasn't there been any increase in Armoury Chest space yet? We get more items to wear and now have 3 new classes and still no updates??? With all of my class specific gear, it is becoming a constant burden to have to repeatedly move things around just so I can switch jobs. At least make the change intuitive to where it puts gear in my Inventory automatically if there's no room in the Armoury chest. I'm getting tired of the "Insufficient Armoury Chestspace" Whenever I want to switch to another class.

Lol yeah. I don't understand how adding more space to the Armoury system would put too much stress on the servers but adding another retainer won't? I just hope somebody over there realizes this is an issue that will only get worse if they don't do something about it soon. It's not going to go away.

With every class (except for 1) at 50 or higher, my weapons slots only have 2 spaces left, I've had to put all my relics into my retainer for this, we will need some more space if they bring out any more classes/jobs though

Why would you carry around your old weapons once you've leveled past them anyway? o.O

The only slot I've really had problems managing is rings.

Old Weapons??? Not at all

I have 23 slots used up for:
13x Battle Class weapons (WHM, BLM, SCH, SMN, AST, PLD, WAR, DRK, BRD, MCH, NIN, MNK & DRG)
3x Gathering Class Tools (BTN, FSH & MIN)
8x Crafting Class Tools (CRP, LTW, ALC, GSM, WVR, BSM, ARM, CUL)

Thats 24x Slots compared to the 14x Slots for all my Rings (As rings are shared amongst classes)

2x Rings for Cast (BLM, SMN)
2x Rings for Dex (BRD, MCH, NIN)
2x Rings for Strength (MNK, DRG)
2x Rings for Vitality (PLD, WAR, DRK)

2x Rings for Crafting (CUL, BSM, ARM, LTW, CRP, WVR, ALC, GSM)

Thats 14x Rings in total

Right now I have 2 tanks at 60, and one at 50. My static is also in Savage progression, so I have 3 sets of rings for tanks (one of which is full slaying so it's shared with melee classes, but I don't have any of those at 60 just yet). I also have 1 healer at 60, 1 at 50, and 1 at 34. That's another 3 sets of rings right there. The same thing goes for BRD (55) and MCH (30). It won't be an issue anymore once I'm done leveling everything. That's the whole reason I'm leveling all of my crafting classes in tandem - so I don't end up needing several different sets of gear for them.

Dumping them off on your retainer seems like it's really the only thing to do with them. Even if you had more room in your Armory Chest, why would you carry around useless old glamour weapons once you've leveled?

Again, I do not have any old weapons or glamour weapons in my inventory, I have 24 Current ones all in use for 24 classes Doh! lol

Judging by how long it will take to gear up 1 job in esoteric gear, even more so multiple jobs since none of the gear is shared and will take up massive space, I'm getting a strong feeling that SE is trying to get us to specialize. Which I am not fond of since I like being skilled at, informed about, experienced with, and practiced at every job.

Maybe this "encouragement" to specialize is just SE's way of saying "Sorry, no more space for you! Can't spare the resources!"

Who knows. Disappointing in any case if we don't get more space.

All of HW so far has been working towards preventing people from playing multiple classes to the fullest whether its battle or doh/dol classes.
