so, if ramuh hits a female char.... is it sexual harassment by an elder?

There is no "in the face" to the slap emote. You made that up, but considering most of the stupid complaints I read on the forums by people who get indignant about bs usually follows the format of "x is a slap in the face!" I can't say i'm really too surprised. Disappointed sure, but not surprised.
Ashamed of... what? /slap? Seriously?Yes, i take violence against females very serious.
No, it's not. I've spoken to some of the abused player (one from my fc), and they all said that they were ashamed by what had happend to them. Does not sound funny to me.
I don't think that it's part of "enjoying the game" when you get slapped around by a "funny" player. Are you sure this isn't a joke? Or then you're leaving something serious out of the story.
atleast a new story to share and laugh about with others
So....you hate people using /slap against female player characters because "oh noes, violence against women!"
...yet you have no issues with you or other players stabbing female enemies in the gut with a sword or burning them to death with a fire spell.
Well done, sir! This may top the "remove the shark fin soup" thread!
Nah, I'm sorry OP. /slap was the best thing they took from XI. Now we need a /sigh and all will be right in the world.
who's gonna get mad because of an in-game emote?
I dont know, some people will complain about anything, it's only a game, how is a generic slap any worse that going into a PvP match and getting speared, axed, stabbed, burnt, etc
omg 'buries head in hands' for the love of grud
As a person responsible for raising 2 young ladies, I share in your concerns about the extreme level of misogny that exists in many online communities. However...
First, this is pure heresy; do you know any of these individuals personally? Can you confirm the claims of abuse? Because it's not like people will lie about something in an online, anonymous community. Seriously, if these girls are telling the truth, the only appropriate response is to grow a thicker skin. The world in general is not a nice place. I'm definitely teaching my girls how to defend themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally, because if they don't stand up for themselves, why the hell should anyone else? No, it's not. I've spoken to some of the abused player (one from my fc), and they all said that they were ashamed by what had happend to them. Does not sound funny to me.
