Horrible drop rates

I don't mind farming, in fact I like it, talking farming monsters for mats. But man the drop rates on some of these are just awful, let alone getting an hq mat. This really needs to be addressed and maybe increased a little not alot, just enough so its a little more reasonable....

I think they're trying to increase demand for the new items for crafting purposes. Yeah, it sucks to farm them, but it also does kind of suck selling pre-50 items for junk prices. I can only imagine that this is their attempt to remedy that.

Clearly, you've not played Ragnarok Online.

Personally, I'd prefer if the numbers of monsters was increased instead in certain areas, but I'm guessing we're PS3-limited in that area.

Heck make us work for it. Release some materia that increases drop rates, or food, or even potions.

You can always use retainers to move their lazy butts and hunt for you.

Be a ninja and use mug, that's pretty much the only option right now and it probably doesn't help too much!

Level up a DoW/M retainer, give them decent gear, and send them on ventures. It takes them ~1hr for 10 items and if their gear is halfway decent a fair amount of those will usually be HQ.

well... :X SE wants us to rent more retainers, wich cost real money -> more retainers at work = more mats x:

As another poster said, spam retainer ventures and put decent gear on them, they should be able to bring you back the material you are looking for, so send them out to work for 1hour while you go back to the farm spot and slowly get the item, when ventures are done go pick up what you got,

and as a nin,,, yes mug,,,you may get a couple items, but don't get too excited, medium cooldown.
