leading numbers and charaters not appearing when using chat specific keyboard

this has been happening for a long time now, and after numerous updates and patches, this hasent been fixed yet. when using teh chat specific keyboard, if you start typing a sentance with a number or a chatarer other than letters (,.? ect.) it does not appear. for example, "10 minutes until behest starts" will appear as " minutes until behest starts".
and if you do start typing with letters, theres a 50-60% chance the first letter will duplicate, and if youre trying to use the auto translate feature, it gets messed up. is there any plan to fix this? if youre trying to relay information quickly and clearly, this causes problems.
