Wow I suppose Square Enix is not very interested in keeeping customers or making money. I bought a ps4 version of the game from Amazon digital download. Redeemed the code and went to play the game. Game says cannot launch, please register the promotion key. Contact Square Enix and they say, oh well you redeemed the code wrong or it would have worked, contact Sony. Sony says issues with codes should be taken to the retailer. Amazon gave me another code key. Of course since I already had one on my account I couldn't redeem another, so I put it on my kids sub account just to see if that would work to link the psn and seid accounts from there. Nope. We also bought a pc version of the game. Literally never gave me a chance to link psn and seid accounts like it should.

So because Square Enix tech support staff is unwilling to help I have lost 20 bucks on a ps4 game I literally cannot open. They will lose 2 recurring subscriptions (since I won't renew my kids on the computer and obviously can't renew the ps4 one cause it won't work.) and also 2 future upgrades to the new expansion.

Not sure what the problem is, I know this issue came up alot at first launch from an internet search but it is crazy there is no fix for this and Square is willing to just let money walk out of the door.

I'm don't suppose anyone knows a fix for this? from what square tech said basically if it doesn't load into your services under account when you redeem the code you are SOL.
