PATCH IS LIVE!!!

I think you got other issues. I'm on Comcast's top tier in Colorado. Holding pretty steady between 100-200Kbs @ 40% now and still watching youtube.

i had this problem on the last patch too. as soon as the patch downloader starts, all other internet traffic is damn near killed. it's not because the speed is using all of my available download speed at all.
it's something about this downloader using all my ports or something.

my normal download speed for other things is up to 2.5MB a second and it doesn't slow the rest of my browsing at all.

but this ffxiv download program almost shuts down all other internet traffic for me.

If you are running win 7 you can check out the network section in your resource monitor. Look under TCP connections and it will tell you which ports are being used by what.
