PATCH IS LIVE!!!

The download client is weird. remote connections 0, local connections 25. it occasionally jumps up to 800KB/s and then down to 5KB/s. inching its way to completion. This happening to anyone else?

but... it really depends what that 646 megs is.
Rewriting the code one byte at a time will take a tremendously longer amount of time to add up than say...
adding a brand new instanced dungeon with lots of pretty cut scenes and huge file sizes.

Damage algorithms, if i am not mistaken, go ONE byte at a time.

Dear god. If they do every zone at once I might try and find a torrent of the new install disc instead lol. Gonna be at least a couple gigs.

Download speed is bouncing around pretty wildly for me as well but it's gone 10% in under 10 minutes so I should be ready when the servers come back up.

It's anybody's guess when that will be. It was 30 min late so I would expect no sooner than 5:30 PST. Regardless I will be refreshing from when it finishes downloading until I get on.

Mine is going extremely slow. Not sure why. The previous patches (when I reinstalled things recently) went pretty fast. I'm only getting like 10k/sec average. ._.
