I didn't realize that buying the stuff on the shop meant I wouldn't have to pay subscription AS WELL for the months in which the event they originally appeared in would take place.

As an example the bomb dance; would buying it on the cash shop mean not paying subscription for July 2015? No?

Then why are you so eager to let SE put all the old stuff on the cash shop instead of having it ALSO in THIS year's event?

What if next expansion they say, "Well, Alexander and Syrcus Tower is really just old stuff now. If you want access to it, they're on the Cash Shop for 10 dollars!" I know, it's a bit of a stretch that they would do this, but it's the same logic: If it's old it's okay to charge extra.
