Primal Moenbryda? -> Enslavement by the Garleans? -> Binding Coil of Moenbryda?

Tiamat said that, which raises some questions about the pillar of light at the Fall of the Keeper.
Speaking of primals, looking over the FF wiki, I think I know what the Qiqirn primal could be.
Was it not eikons instead of primals? From my understanding the Warring Triad are not the only sealed eikons, with many others imprisoned all over the world, and the seals are weakening.
SE is trying to move away from the beast tribes I think. It would be a lot less work to simply design a summon to battle without worrying about a related beast tribe. This will also allow the story to have a bit more freedom in terms of how we encounter these new summons since they're no longer bound to a tribe.
My guess is we may encounter a final dual element primal for ice and lightning but beyond that we'll be discovering and defeating unleashed eikons instead. It's becoming apparent to me that the eikons are the true threat here now, whilst the primals were merely pale imitations.
Someone above stated it was Tiamat who said that. I'm not at home so I can't check right now. No more beast tribes would certainly make it easier, and who knows we may end up with more encounters per patch if whole new tribes don't have to be built around them. Was it not eikons instead of primals? I hope this isn't the case... I keep thinking about that and just picturing Midgardsormr as a complete idiot... "The Ascians want to create chaos so they'll use the Primals... BETTER RELEASE A LOAD OF PRIMALS!"
Would make the talk with Tiamat more interesting though... "The Allag sealed many of their kind away, they must not be released..." <Warrior of Light stares at Midgardsormr>
I really want some answers out of that dragon... Guess we'll get Keeper of the Lake (Hard) eventually though...
Jokes aside, given their obsession with money, I always figured the Qiqirn could get Yojimbo... I mean, that would make for an interesting Eikon actually... A wandering Eikon for hire, that a band of Qiqirn happen upon and employ...Speaking of primals, looking over the FF wiki, I think I know what the Qiqirn primal could be.
I don't think we'd need to go to their homeland proper, they'd just need to get more organized in Eorzea, and after Wanderer's Palace (Hard), they seem to be doing just that. Can't quite remember where I read this, but apparently they have a city of gold? Think SE is going for the Aztec vibe with them, so Quetzalcoatl could actually be a really nice fit there, assuming they don't make Quetzy one of the Celestial Dragons. My money is still on Asura though, they had a two headed leader, might as well have a three headed Primal... "A six-armed summon with three faces—anger, benevolence, and joy", anger certainly fits the Mamool Ja, not sure about benevolence, but I'm just going to say joy is represented in that dance...

Actually, we know that during the Allagan eras there were quite a bunch of primal/eikons around in both othard and aldernard, so many that allagans eventually made infantry (SMN) and machines (ultima weapon) to deal with such beings (im not really sure of the smn part, but im main smn for 2 years so i don't exactly remember it properly, but that was the overall idea i got of it)

More specifically, summoners did not arise until Allag attempted to invade Meracydia; though Y'mhitra's wording is vague enough that the Allag might've encountered primals beforehand.
A little unrelated, but any idea why there's a negative/backwards flash during Ravana's death cutscene? It plays in both normal and extreme >_>Y'mhitra: The Allagan Empire reached its peak during the Third Astral Era. Dissatisfied with dominion over Eorzea alone, this thriving civilization sought to expand its borders to ever more distant lands.
Y'mhitra: Eventually, the empire cast its avaricious gaze upon the southern continent of Meracydia. The peoples of these nations did not, however, take kindly to being invaded, and they summoned the primals to repel the Allagan forces.
Y'mhitra: Hard-pressed by these incarnations of elemental wrath, the leaders of the empire's military were forced to alter their tactics. They ordered the mages under their command to devise some manner of magic with which to counter the primals, and, after much experimentation, the art of summoning was born.
Y'mhitra: The magic invented by these arcane pioneers met with great success, and, within the Allagan Empire, the title of “summoner” earned the bearer an uncommon measure of awe and respect.
