The next Dual Element Primals? (Spoiler)

According to the game, Bismarck's element is Wind and Water
Ravana's element is Fire and Earth

it seems to suggest that the next one will have the dual element of Thunder and Ice, but I can't think of any existing summon from previous FFs that may match that exact description.

Tritoch/Valigarmanda does come close because its very first appearance was it being trapped in ice and shocking the magitek riders. But it's more than just that because it's also commands fire, thus, making it a triple element summon.

Then again, Bismark, afaik, was purely water element in previous games. It's possible they could just re-imagine an old summon and add one more element to it. Or it could be a new one.

    What do you think.

Unless they create some brand new primal/esper/GF/aeon, my guess would be either Valigarmanda (Tritoch) or Quetzacoatl.

We DO have a dragon "trapped" in ice in Coerthas West, in a location that happens to have a very peculiar name... "The Sleeping Dragon".
(Granted Tritoch was not really a dragon, but it did look like a bird dragon thing)

One of the people in my FC suggested Ixion could be the next one. I don't personally know anything of the summons from other games, as this is my first FF game.

We know that in churning mists, Tharl Oom Khash (if someone knows the translation please do) is suposed to be the place where Ratatoskr died.

Althou lahabrea is dead(he was ppretty much the cause of pretty much all summonings that we know exept.... In Ununkulhai quests(wich, name is one of the stars of the serpentarius constelation where elidibus that posseses the serpentarius stone in tatics, and taking in mind its garments and urianger filiation i would speculate that Ununkulhai is directly related to elidibus and that {totally speculating} Urianger summoned, or has something to do with the ravana/bismark)

In those quests he says that these new primals were not summoned like the others, elementals, from before. This may seem silly, but i think it would make sense that the new primal is Ratatoskr, the levin crystals (darkscale fates, althou he asks for nidhog power) nidhogg used only fire skills in its fight in the Aery.

I dont know, pretty sure the other dragons have knowledge of what happened to bahamuth and tiamat but still... SOMEONE could do the summon by themselfs. Cough, urianger.

    Bismark and Ravana are, technically.

Primarily Bismark is Water and Wind, and Ravana is Earth and Fire, but both also employ a third element; Bismark obviously being Lightning, the weather phase of the fight involves it at least, and Vanu culture seems to value Lightning just as much as Wind and Water (Thunder Eggs in Neverreap, for example). For Ravana it's a bit more subtle, but it's Ice. Remember the Shiva/Ravana showdown? Those were Ice crystals used to summon Shiva, I imagine the Gnath use them to cool the caverns down or something, they're literally everywhere. Then there is the Spirit Gana summoned in the fight, what do they cast? Blizzard.

As for new Primals... Do you think we'll get any? There is no new tribe to summon them, and Eikons have now been introduced, so I imagine they'll be the focus going forward. I kind of expect we'll get a Fire/Earth/Wind/Water/Lightning/Ice Eikon in the form of Belias/etc. now. The possibility of them coming into the game was hinted all the way back at the Lv50 Summoner quest, it's about time we saw them... I also want my theory that the Elementals are sealing an Eikon/s to be true, and Krile to make an appearance just as Exodus breaks free from the forest of Moore... I mean the Twelveswood! Heck, we even have the moon showing up now... If Bahamut could be sealed in Dalamud, in space, Zeromus, the Condemner can be on the moon...

On Bismark and Ravana though... Does anyone put any credit behind Unukalhai suggesting that the Ascians aren't behind their summoning? I mean, when we first beat Ravana we had Igeyorhm watching as if to say "This was my doing!", and Igeyorhm and Lahabrea were both involved bringing Thordan VII to Azys Lla, presumably to harness the power of the Warring Triad, something Unukalhai seems to think Ravana and Bismark, and whoever set about having them resummoned, are planning to do... Seems like an Ascian plan to me, and if it's not Ascians, who is it?

Personally, I ignore the dumb little brat... Really? Your disguise is a white robe and mask? You go by Unukalhai? Yeah, the last time I heard such a name it was the Heart of Sabik and it quite obviously had involvement with the Ascians. Are you even trying to fool anyone? Really have to wonder what Uriangier is up to here... That 2.55 ending makes what's going on here pretty obvious... Just need to know both sides motivations... Really hope Uriangier isn't being taken for the same ride Tiamat was...

I honestly understood it as the new summoning of Ravana / Bismarck (i.e. the extreme versions) weren't Ascian orchestrated (the Ascians didn't step down and say hey guess what happens if you use a sacrifice and carve up their bones!?). Whether I believe that, well no, I don't.

The translation of Tharl Oom Kash is fairly straightforward since it's in the sightseeing log: "Crystal from remorse"

The idea of each of Midgardsormr's brood harboring a specific element is nice but assigning Nidhogg strictly Fire is probably wrong. The Aery, like Tharl Oom Kash, seems to be primarily Lightning-aspected and the weather when you enter Nidhogg An even changes to Thunder. That said, Massacre and the Scarlet Price certainly seem fire-based, but what of the Sable Price? (Also worth noting our meeting with Tiamat lights the Crystal of Fire, and I'm fairly sure Nidhogg's defeat awakens the Crystal of Lightning)

We've been more or less kept in the dark about how much the celestial wyrms know about anything (though it is reasonable to assume they know nearly everything). There are so many questions about why the wyrms didn't tell us more or deliberately kept things from us. Why the hell didn't Midgardsormr tell us about Azys Lla or Tiamat or what was kept there? I mean yeah yeah "testing us" but we're all after the same foe here, yeah? If they knew of Tiamat and Bahamut's fates why were Hraesvelgr/Ratatoskr/Nidhogg buddy buddy with proto-Ishgard? I feel like the falling out between man and dragon should've been way earlier.

All that said.... I vote Syldra. We already know she exists as a sea serpent in Eorzea's mythology!

It could be that nidhogg's moves are not his own, since he isn't using his eyes.

I'm inclined to agree with this. While all the elements don't directly compose each of the new primals, they are linked. The way they just threw the extra element in the mix, it feels to me that they wanted to use 'em all up, which would lead one to believe we're moving toward something new.

This is actually a very interesting idea. Though, are we sure Hraesvelgr is fire...? Also, it's still entirely possible that each of the Celestial Dragons, or all dragons for that matter, are capable of breathing fire, regardless of their elemental affinity.

I wonder if they'll pull an FF6 and have a Research Lab with captive Primals?

It's said multiple times that Allagan know how to capture primals alive and it would make sense that there'll be captive Primals for "experimental" purposes? If not summoned by beast tribes they can atleast be accidently released.

The only beast tribe we got left that don't have a Primal are: Qiqirn, Mamool Ja, maybe those Gigas littering Mor Dhona-Coerthas that worship the CT that are most likely former Allagan slaves/ experiments. I remember Ethys Asher have a nice theory equating Belias the Gigas with those Copperbell Gigas

mamool ja also dont have a primal.

And i think there are 3 types of giants, gigas, hecatonier and giants (the ones of boulder downs in coerthas) , i heard something about these being from abalathia spine but none has been found yet, i kinda hope they are behind the door, like , one of the new dungoens is in a locked door in a cave of northeast in the forelands.
