Joining Party while Chocobo summoned, can we have it?

I would love to be able to do that, would be nice if we could queue for duty with our chocos out too, but I guess that's asking too much. :P

tl;dr Battle chocobo uses the party system. Any restrictions associated with being in a party (party finder will close, duty finder queues might end, cannot join other parties, etc) also apply. Significant changes must be made to the battle chocobo system for us to get what we want (yes, I also want to be able to queue with my Bo out, and all that stuff).

There's no technical reason preventing them from making it so you can join a party, ride another mount, or queue in the DF with a chocobo out as a companion. The game stores loads of data on your character and companion server side, it would take a simple flag in the system telling it to ignore the chocobo.

SE is either already working on it or just doesn't want to put in the effort, but there is no coding reason they can't. Not riding another mount is prolly just a lore thing to them.

If they were able to do this it would be great, because then they could look at it working for players in groups as well, for example 2x groups of 4 becoming 8 without having to disband.
