It would actually help if we could understand what the thread titles were...
Look at the dates of threads started, the amount of pages and all.
Japanese keep their forums nice and tidy and conversations going in one topic.
Here people need to go Snowflake mode, complain and parrot the same things
in 50 million different topics. I guess they don't feel like bothering replying here TOO much
because when they do reply, people either get pissy and make 400 more topics anyways.
So do you have a direct translation for each thread title? We have threads of 100+ pages long as well. What's to say those larger threads aren't something like a "Show your Race" thread? And what about those several threads with 2-5 pages? Are they all completely unique topics?Look at the dates of threads started, the amount of pages and all.

Take with a grain of salt since it's a Google Translate.
They don't seem to complain as much either.
Digging through, I'm still seeing threads complaining about something. I would need to better understand at what point do you consider complaining to be just whining. Otherwise, you've only given me threads that weren't necessarily negative in any connotation.
Not denying that their forums aren't cleaner. But some threads seem to poke about making copies of already established topics. Might be that it's looked down on much more severely, possibly that moderators for those forums are more strict/diligent with keeping it all centralized.https://translate.google.com/transla...25E7%2594%25A8

But as an addendum to your edit in your first post:
That's actually really bad. They need to be more proactive and be professional about this considering these are the official forums. So if that's the case, maybe need to work on that.I guess they don't feel like bothering replying here TOO much

a couple of thoseSo do you have a direct translation for each thread title? We have threads of 100+ pages long as well. What's to say those larger threads aren't something like a "Show your Race" thread? And what about those several threads with 2-5 pages? Are they all completely unique topics?
thread to ask for npc's in dungeon
chat thread
hairstyle contest thread
request for goods like keychains and such
talking about the new friend invitation system
something about a ponytail change
Eorzia Yey thread
So yea, mostly unique threads.
Btw note: not 1 of them is actually whining...

Do note that all those threads are actually different subjects.
Japanese players tends to keep their discussions in 1 thread while everyone here thinks he needs his own thread for same issue for the 50th time.
Perfect comparison here is the Astrolgian thread there. It got almost 200 pages.
Here? Well just check the healer forums and try to not be shocked.
