Funny thing about this statement: When someone on this side does give well constructed feedback, they usually get one or all of the following responses:

"git gud"
"Cry baby/whiner"
"Don't let the door hit you on the way out"

Amongst other things, usually in the rudest way a person can respond as well.

Or worse is that any constructive feedback will be completely ignored and all anyone will continue to do in the thread is bash someone else with anything not as constructive. Typically someone will only read the first page, see something that bothers them, then immediately moves to respond to tell someone off. Doesn't matter if the very next page they were to apologize if they came off too blunt, or were corrected and were humble in accepting that. That's all ignored and you'll have several pages of people just replying to the first page.

All of those responses indicate that the original poster in that situation was threatening to leave if X did not happen. Last I checked, threats were not very constructive.

while this is true(to an extent) when most of the thread starters ideas make something either mind numbingly easy or overpowered, its little wonder how some people are going to react to them.

Never said there weren't posts on this forum asking for idiotic things(free tomes because reasons!), was merely pointing out that even when someone posts some well thought out constructive feedback, they get blasted more often then not. One of the differences we have between regions. That was the only point I was trying to make.

We western people have our good sides too lol. SE community sometimes act like Japanese players are some gods.

Mkay, they probably use their brains before they start making new threads which is nice, but it is not only our fault. There were lots of good, big threads with nice suggestions that never got repplies and then there was one thread with <put useless glamour suggestion here> that got dev repply imediately. Fault is on both sides.

But yeah.. many good suggestions here got put down becuase of people like "I don't need this so it is useless suggestion, I don't care if other people want it, SE aim for stuff that I want."

If you collapse all the forums posts into as many threads as the JP forums, I think it'll look about the same reply wise.

Anyway, in JP culture, "Do not cause trouble for others" is typical. From what I hear, they train using PF until they are confident enough to use the DF to do their runs, resulting in a generally more capable DF than western servers.
Another reason I heard is that the strategy used by DF players is synchronized, presumably through forums. That makes it easier for random people to work together because the fights goes the same. Homogeneity = efficiency, at the expense of creativity.

There is no need for creativity when the game doesn't allow for it.
