New Player: What class(es) are most needed for end game raiding?

Pretty simple question - when it comes down to it, what are the most needed classes for end game content raiding (which appears to currently be alexander?). Any info would be appreciated as I level up.

Just my opinion , but :
PLD/WAR , MNK , DRG , SMN/SCH , WHM
MNK over DRG cause too many ppl's DRG already , but good MNK is hard to find
Same credit goes to SMN , while BLM totally awesome for sure , but good SMN is hard to find
Tanks just use WAR or PLD , i heard DRK not that good ( i didnt tried tho)
For now i'd avoid BRD/MCH cause for they can't pull as any other DPS

Just FYI I'm not on this server but I'm looking for a replacement for my group. The person who commented above me is completely wrong. Bard/mch are easily the most sought after class right now everyone needs them and there are next to none available

While it's true bard/mch is parsing badly compared to other classes, are pretty much a requirement due to their utility. You can't afford to run out of TP on a high of a damage check as some of the Alex bosses.

DRG while plentiful is parsing the highest so I see many PF groups looking for one.
SMN is another one I often see people looking for.

For healers almost every group uses WHM/SCH composition, AST is terrible for progression atm.
For tanks, every group needs a WAR due to their OP tank dps. PLD is generally sought over DRK, but certain fights it's the other way around.
