The Japanese team has pretty good English, but speaking and reading full sentences in English gets a bit hard for a non-native speakerYou realise that most of the devs probably speak pretty poor English right? When they have translators, which they have before, it doubles the length of the Live Letter. We tend to get a transcript in english within a short time after anyway and all the sides tend to have English translations of what is written on them.. Especially getting the context right.
