Thavnairian Headdress is poorly designed

The rest of the female Thavnairian set is absolutely beautiful, but I feel that whoever designed the headdress dropped the ball. I have assembled images of all the hairstyles my character can have so that it is easy to see how badly the ribbons clip the different styles. 17 of these styles look terrible with it in my opinion.

Also the front of the headdress is barely visible on most of the fringed styles.



I don't expect this piece to look perfect on every hairstyle, some of them such as style number 6 are too oddly shaped, but I do think it should at least look good on the majority of them.

Perhaps the size of the headdress could be increased overall, so that the gold banding can sit just over a fringe and the ribbons would be moved further away from the hair.

It's good that you provided the images for it lol. For the most part, these visual problems are sort of unrealistic to change to match (even decently) every type. It's sort of like actual accessories that you might wear IRL. To make them more visible, you actually do need to change your hairstyle. People with long hair, for example, may want to tie their hair back to make a bandana or something visible. In this case though, I think the design team neglected the impact of positioning and size of the headdress when applied to the actual model and hairstyles used across varied races. They probably just used a hairless character model to get the positioning and size variance down. It's probably just how things are done, so I doubt any sort of change will be made on it.

I agree. It looks terrible, and I have never had any desire to own it despite having all the rest of the set.

I don't know. It looks like they took hair into consideration when designing the Eternal Bond veils. It's not perfect for all styles but at least it doesn't look like it's buried inside your head.

I love the style of the turban with the veil. One of my favorite styles to wear on my character.

They probably took that item a tiny bit more serious, considering what it is supposed to be.
Can't really hide helmet during that certain event.
