    Grand company weapons and 1.19

    I'm not a huge crafter so i might had missed this skimming over the nots..
    An sorry as i hate questions like this but..

    Is it the case that GC gear/weapons wont be able to have Materia unless they were brought post 1.19?

    edit: Nvm Think I've seen what they are talking about.

    "Items that are crafted using pre-1.19 recipes have had "Dated" added to their names (e.g. Dated Canvas Robe)."

    I could be mistaken, but I think Rare/ex weapons cannot either, which includes the rank 50 GC weapons we have now.

    Aye I had thought that but wasn't 100% on it, I was more thinking the mid ranked stuff, and more If items brought not crafted pre 1.19 would have that defunct label added to them overall.
