    I feel like simply making it a GtAoE instead of a channeled ability would fix all of it's problems. In Noct the 10% protection would be nice, and the smaller radius/longer CD would balance out the fact that it's free and 3 seconds longer than SS (which requires an otherwise valuable resource to use anyway). And in Diurnal sect it would actually be better than Asylum, but they also have Assize and we don't really have anything comparable anyway.

    I think actually a number of small changes to various skills like this could go a long way towards making our class better. I've seen some interesting card changes that I like as well. Someone mentioned merging TP/MP cards and instead adding a new card that increases our healing potency. Granted the cards would still be RNG so you'd need to tweak other things to lessen that problem, but it's a good start.
