While all of that is true that doesn't change the fact that we still need buffs in various areas to bring us up to par with the other healers.

Well, you are the one claiming that AST requires a brain to play (effectively) which is passive aggressively suggesting everyone who doesn't see why AST is good lacks the intellect to play it properly.
I'm not sure how you think someone may not get offended by claiming that, to be honest. If you're going to make a comment like that - prepare to be flamed and be prepared to defend yourself (as you are already trying to do in multiple other threads).
With that being said, I do agree out of the three healers at this time, AST requires the most player knowledge to play at higher level.
if it doesnt require a brain i would just throw my cards on who ever and when ever... but the cards needs u to atless have a brain or knowledge to which jobs/class u going to give them too..... we actually kicked and AST in random duty due to him throwing EWERS on a warrior...Well, you are the one claiming that AST requires a brain to play (effectively) which is passive aggressively suggesting everyone who doesn't see why AST is good lacks the intellect to play it properly.

but i agree with what u said that AST require the most player knowledge to play good

Every job/class in this requires some form of intelligence, aptitude, and common sense to play at an acceptable level.if it doesnt require a brain i would just throw my cards on who ever and when ever... but the cards needs u to atless have a brain or knowledge to which jobs/class u going to give them too..... we actually kicked and AST in random duty due to him throwing EWERS on a warrior...

However, what you're implying in your recent comment(s) is that most players who complain about AST lack basic intelligence and are therefore too dumb to realize AST is fine as is.
Yes, in your example that AST was acting very poorly for using Ewer on your WAR tank - but I'm pretty certain you run into that kinda individual perhaps... once every 40-50 DF runs. Most of the people commenting about AST know how AST works and play it at the level required to clear EXDR / EX Primal / Alexander Normal content. Despite that, the general consensus is AST could use a few small buffs and tweaks to put it on a similar-but-different level of power that WHM and SCH bring to the table and give them a better chance to join progression content in Savage Alexander.
You're certainly not doing yourself any favours by implying all these players:
"Require a brain to play" AST.

So you kicked a guy in a pug for using a useless card on a random party member?if it doesnt require a brain i would just throw my cards on who ever and when ever... but the cards needs u to atless have a brain or knowledge to which jobs/class u going to give them too..... we actually kicked and AST in random duty due to him throwing EWERS on a warrior...
but i agree with what u said that AST require the most player knowledge to play good
How skilled of you.
(Actually, depending on level, some Warriors use Flash as an alternate TP-free AE threat generator. And since no one else in your average Duty Finder group is gonna run out of mana on anything, the Warrior might actually be the best person!)

Wow, I thought this thread was dead but now I see that I got so much love in here since yesterday. I deserved it, anyways, so it's all fine - it's part of the game, when you're blunt/rude to people on the internet. Anyway, like I said before, I'm glad I was proved wrong in this, because it means there's a powerful combo for WHM/SCH, which is very useful for fights like Faust, no matter what strategy people are using. That doesn't make CU useless, though, just like Cure III isn't. There are several spells you don't get to use all the time in other jobs, but that doesn't make them useless. If you time it right, you can get a lot of value from it.
But since a lot of people are debating changes, I would propose something: instead of making it a bubble you place, CU could be made to give the buff for a set duration to everyone who enters the bubble instead of only giving it to people that stay inside the bubble, you know? That would allow people to gather around the AST and then spread out to do other things. The AST would only need to remain locked in place for the time it takes to everyone to get the buff. This way we get something different than Sacred Soil/Asylum and we get to keep the cool animation CU has.

Oh I forgot about the animation, yea that's a problem. AST has some of the best animations in the game so we definitely gotta keep those. But since a lot of people are debating changes, I would propose something: instead of making it a bubble you place, CU unconscious could be made to give the buff for a set duration to everyone who enters the bubble instead of only giving it to people that stay inside the bubble, you know? Instead of the HoT buff remaining on the targets wherever they go, make it so the bubble stays in place wherever the AST put it. So instead of a GtAoE it's still the same PbAoE it is now, but just removing the channel part. So we run up, do the awesome hover mid air with arms out pop bubble awesomeness and then just leave it there for the full duration.

What I don't like about having it placed in the location the AST is standing is the fact that you would need to reposition yourself a lot to make it effective and still get everyone to stack there. That would make it look like an odd Asylum/Sacred Soil, which is basically what people are complaining.Oh I forgot about the animation, yea that's a problem. I think that would make sense then. I don't mind moving and re-positioning a lot but maybe that's just me and a playstyle I'm used to from other games. I also don't mind if CU becomes a "similar but different in an AST style" skill because that's much of our toolset anyway. What I don't like about having it placed in the location the AST is standing is the fact that you would need to reposition yourself a lot to make it effective and still get everyone to stack there.
