This macro will make it so that if you're targetting an enemy, it'll cast Aero, and if you're targetting an ally, you'll cast Cure. Just be sure to turn off error messages. Also yes, macros prevent ability queuing, that's why I suggested it to be in the options menu rather than a macro thing.

My suggestion as to what his suggestion is to change instead of healing yourself, you can change a setting in an options menu somewhere and make it heal the last person targetted or something.

Ah right. I get what you mean now. Thanks and I support your idea.

Agreed. TSW has this feature. Focus target helps a bit and macros can work around it but come with their own downsides.

    Warhammer online did this.

It's a mixed bag of useful and pain-in-the-!@#^. On one hand, woot, damage abilities go to the enemy and healsies to the friend!

On the other, self cast while targeting an enemy often saw your quick save-my-own-ass heal going to the friend. It saves a step in some places and adds it to another. Mouseover targeting is indeed the best way to handle this.

Also maybe improved and efficient interfaces like Wow had with GRID. Amg GRID. Square, pls.

In tsw, you can have an offensive target and a defensive target, (which is you by default). It is quite a handy feature. And would make a great qol addition.

It's not hard, you'll get more used to it with experience. I play on PS4 and can easily switch targets between the boss or mobs and the tank or other players. Usually quickest way if DPSing the boss and need to cure the tank is just hitting circle to untarget, then down on the d-pad twice to move from myself at the top of the list to the tank. Just takes practice then it is super easy.

I don't really use Macro's myself but doing one like the person above suggested would work. I really only use 2, swiftcast + raise of course, and then my other is just called Stone, and it's basically

    /ac "Stone II" <t>
    /ac "Stone III" <t>

Yes I lose the ability to queue them but it's great for roulette as space is limited on PS4 so would be a pain having Stone III as my main DPS attack on my hot bar and then get put in a level 50 dungeon where I can't use it and would have to swap it for Stone II etc. This way it uses whichever one is highest for the dungeon I'm in. Not being able to queue them isn't even a huge issue I find as other than solo content, 99% of play is in parties and what not, where you're most likely only going to pop a couple Stone's on the enemy anyway before flipping out of CS back to healing.

    /ac "Cure" <t>
/focustarget <tt> will cure your target, make your targets target your focus target.

Then for advanced macros you can
    /ac "Stone" <t>
/focustarget <tt> this will allow you to dps then make your tank your focus target.

for even more advanced you can
    /ac "Aero" <tt>
/focustarget <tt> This will only attack your tanks focus target with aero and making his current target your focus target.
