    Dev Suggestion: Unrestricting all cross class action

    Just as the title suggested, I personally don't think it will unbalance the game if this was release or implemented. For that matter, I feel that this will bring more depth, progression, and customization to our characters.

    Basically, can we have all cross class skills unlocked to all jobs and not just to the specific jobs? Just like when it was like in 1.0.

    Sure people will say even if so, players will just find the optimal way to play their job in. However, this opens up a whole lot more options for us players when we are not in raid. For example, with the new unsynced dungeons. I can now go in with my friend as my black mage and heal us through via cleric stance without having to wait for a healer to do so.

    Furthermore, this will correct some issues some jobs are facing such as TP starvation and lack of AoE.

    Also, we could expand on this cross class ability by adding some job ability to it? Such as the new abilities from the 3 new jobs.

    That won't be a problem because you only get 5 slot to setup your cross class action.

    Furthermore, you can use them on the go as there is cool down. So you can't really abuse it during a fight.

    This will also help with jobs that can't res and in need to do so.

    Didn't you ask to have all cross skills from all jobs opened at once? As in you can use skills from other classes not related to yours?

    Cleric Stance has the -20% healing still, making the INT-MND swap not so useful. What'd be really nice for that is a reversed cleric stance.

    Eh, how you stated was how the game was originally designed in the early ages of 1.0. It didn't work out like you imagine, it was just a mess. The restrictions were put in place because it made the game a lot better for it. I know people like the illusion of free range choice and customization but its never actually utilized and kind of a waste of dev time balancing options that no one will use. What I'm hoping for is for the situation of, "Hey my buddy and I want to duo a dungeon but neither of us can heal" would be the introduction of venturing buddy NPC's (similar to chocobo companion). That's an idea which has been mentioned more than once by the dev team and might be the better solution than completely reverting and re-balancing the class system.

    Bard and Machinist already have both of these and even if other melee have them, it won't really break the game since you can use it only about 2 or 3 times per raid.
