On top of that I would add that when teleporting through the menu, if your teleporting to a town, is it possible to have a subcatagory to go straight to one of the mini aethernet spots in a city? That would be really nice.
What do u mean with that? We already have teleport and once u click it, it will show u the cities/towns that u unlock and teleport there. I think they wanted to keep the other areas of the map just locked with the use of the main aether in Tue city u are in so u need to be next to an aether to move around the city.
But he wants to be able to put a specific location on the hotbar so instead of clicking twice, you only have to do so once, saving you 1-2 seconds, top 4. It's a real lifesafer. Becase we all know that we don't have any time to spare while playing, busy busy. What do u mean with that? Lol srly? 1-2 secs. If it were a 5-7 secs 8 would see it more convenient =P
I really don't see the value in being able to add teleports to a hotbar... unless of course... YOU ARE A BOT?!!?!?!?.
...which is exactly why I guarantee you this suggestion should never, and will never be implemented. Sorry!
^.^
Have you ever done craft levequests? ._.
Honestly, I wanted that so long ago. 2-4 seconds might sound stupid, but there are certain teleports that you'd visit frequently and would rather have a shortcut for them. Also, about the bot part, if they want to teleport, they will only take 2-4 seconds aswell and no effort as it's automated. Argument against the idea because of bots using this is nonsense (most bots just teleport wherever they want anyway, hack teleports, not manual ones through button). When I decided to do some levequests, the sole idea of all the teleporting around was annoying enough (besides the long walks). It's just a QoL and there's no actual argument of why it shouldn't be a thing. It's basically the same as job shortcuts, in theory it would take you a couple of secs to switch jobs but it gets tiring if you'd have to open your character profile, set list and select the desired one.

I could give you more reasons why it shouldn't be implemented if you'd like. I never said bots haven't figured out ways to teleport. Adding any feature that allows the action to be attached to a keybind will always have that risk. So the argument I am making is, why make it even easier for them? That would be moving in the wrong direction.
Your QoL change is so that you can press a keybind once instead of clicking twice. You are absolutely right, it does sound stupid. So don't tell me there's no actual argument of why it shouldn't be a thing. This is my argument and I'm sticking to it. It will make travel easier for bots and it's a waste of the developers time and effort.
^.^
I'm just picturing a dps in dungeon who doesn't have Limit Break on his toolbar because he filled it up with teleports.
So you just ignore the rest of the post where bots already have it easier. Going with your argument, we shouldn't have any sort of shortcut for anything, not even skills (basically, they have it easier farm mobs! -_-). Denying QoL for legit players simply with the argument of bots, again when they already have it easier, is simply stupid.
