    When the fundamental problem is bad design, and compounded by not acknowledging the problem or giving an outline of a plan to fix it, then no, the problem is not "fixable".

    I told a company-mate that this crafting system is a system that should have been laughed out of the room and filed with a "do not implement, ever".

    Faith is finite. Pushing crafting in well past alexander cost faith. Putting an arbitrary 2 day offset on crafting that just messes with people's heads costs faith. Every time you say "trust us, we have an (unelaborated on) plan", it costs faith. Every time you fix something that's minor but don't acknowledge the more important issues, it costs faith. And putting a system as messed up as this one in place? It costs a LOT of faith.

    My tank is running on empty now. And it seems like mine isn't the only one.

    Crafting and gathering was fun for me in 2.x (even the grind to get the Lucis and Masterbooks), but in 3.x it is zero fun. My sub runs out in September and I've cancelled the auto-renew on it. I don't raid, don't even like dungeons much, so the game for me was the crafting and gathering which they seem to want to kill off. Makes me sad, but on a positive note, since HW dropped my flat is tidier than it's been in two years!

    I'm going to miss the lovely friends Ive made in the game as I am unlikely to keep in touch with any of them outside of the game. I'm older than most of them by *decades* so the main thing I have in common with them is the game.

    I might resub in a patch or two, if there are some major changes.

    The end game is split into this.

    1. Raiding
    2. Crafting/Gathering
    3. PVP
    4. Existing.

    If people are quitting the game because of what they've done to crafting, then SE do need to take it seriously.

    MAYBE IM CONFUSED

    I am not good with raiding and my desire to make statics over and over was never present so i divulged into crafting. To be able to craft i had to mine and garden to keep my gil supply up to lvl all my crafts. after i found a new step which was using my time to craft and now buy mats off the market board to keep the flow of gil in the economy flowing and my crafts profitable because trying to do both crafting and mining is a huge task even before expansion.
    I like many went of us who went into the task of multi-melding individual pieces, then artisan came and we had to remeld again. all this time ppl want you to craft for them and pay next to nothing and also asking y do u need all that gil. its funny ppl dont think u can look at history of items and see they spent 500k for items for you to craft yet scoff when u say 100k for the craft. my point here is crafting is not cheap and ppl who gather also request gil for their time and mats just like us.

    I have acquired 100s of millions of gil and can afford to craft what ever i feel to but this expansion has been a kick in the face for a lot of existing crafter's who like relic grinder's thought there would be some continuation with a few challenging steps towards new gear. instead now we are faced with becoming gatherer's which clearly most of us don't like to do, and it's not just gathering its gated time gathering..i mean really.if i wanted to started over a grind to be able to craft i would of just tried another mmo. i love this game but they honestly need to review the scripts system. not all server's are on the same lvl as i looked at the mb of gila and easily found most of the mats but why should i have to transfer to enjoy something thats supp to be for everyone..

    They should just gate raiding with 11 hrs of lv1 mobs before entering the boss fight and see how raiders feel. Also give them 10 min to kill the boss and based on speed of kill a chance of gettin a 190 or i210 item because that's what SE is doing to crafting.

    Nah, more like run Sastasha NM 99 times, then hand in a completion item to an NPC to gain access to Alexander Savage. Then you have to run Alexander 1 Savage a number of times hoping to unlock a concealed Coffer that gives one person the right to pass from Alexander 1 Savage to Alexander 2 Savage. You get a different item in Alexander 2 Savage for Alexander 3 Savage, and a different item there for Alexander 4 Savage. Those items get consumed with each use, so you have to farm another one up to go back if you wipe too many times.

    And each one is Unique, so you cannot farm up several A2S tokens from A1S "just in case".

    Running Sastasha NM 99 times is at least predictable. Let's make it so you have to turn in 10 minions from each of two HM dungeons (say, demon bricks and tight-beaked parrots) and the drop you got from the corresponding Alexander NM run for the week. Oh, and you're locked out of those dungeons for the week after you run them 20 times. That'll get you into one of the floors of Savage for one shot. And then you're auto-booted if you wipe once.
