Failed attempts increased on red scripts items after hotfix???

While collectable gathering Adamantite Ore and Chysahl Greens today, there has been a HUGE increase of failed gathering attempts. I sit at 96% for each node and out of 98 attempts thus far, I have obtained nothing 41 times now.

Up until this hotfix I've never had such lopsided RNG like this occur so consistently and can only wonder if this is related. The hateraid side of me thinks SE pulled a tricksie to increase the amount fails above 95% with the increased scripts.

That said, I need perspective and to be checked. If I'm just having rotten luck, its nothing new. However if anyone else has experienced this I'd love to hear from you.

I cannot claim to have had such bad luck as you.

The simple reason is that I was tired of the 95% and 96% whiffs on collectibles weeks ago, and I added extra GP to my gear such that with food I am over 650 GP (actually, at 660 GP, but the extra 10 GP does nothing for me). This lets me Sharp Vision/Field Mastery as well as do the standard 600 GP collectible rotations, guaranteeing I get the items I've worked so hard to make collectible.

Given your luck you may want to consider such a move yourself.
