Level Synch, Jobs & Cross-class Skills

I wonder if SE overlooked this, but when you are synched below level 30, you lose all the benefits of your Job, but are not granted all the benefits of your Class at that level - such as Cross-class skills.

A Lancer can use Raging Strikes and Straight Shot (Archer) as cross-class skills.
    A Dragoon cannot.

So when I'm synched to level 29, for example, I'm actually weaker than I was at level 29, because I can't use some of the skills I did at that level, including Raging Strikes or Straight Shot.

If I am synched to level X, I should be able to use the skills I had access to at level X, including cross-class skills.
    Isn't this a no-brainer?
Or am I missing something important?

Actually, as a lancer, you gain cross-class skills every 5 levels. So, at level 29, you have 5 cross-class skills available.

As a Dragoon, you gain cross-class skills every 10 levels. So at level 29, you have 2 cross-class skills available. In return however, you get better base attributes and gear and unique abilities. You can always change to a base class when going in to a lower level dungeon. Nothing stops you from doing that.

I know the differences between Class and Job.
But none of it matters because when you queue you can't control whether you'll enter a sub 30 dungeon or not.
If I could control it then yeah I would change to Lancer and set my skills before queueing.
But as it stands I cannot.

In my opinion the solution would be having both Lancer and Dragoon cross-class skill slots visible in the ability tab so you can set both of them up individually.
While synched below 30 the Lancer Slots become "lit" and the Dragoon ones are darkened.

Job stones give stat boosts even while level synced under 30, so a level 29 dragoon would still be better than a level 29 lancer with straight shot and raging strikes.

    Did not know that.

Still I would prefer to have more fun using those additional abilities instead of getting a passive boost.
