    Since theres 200 + pages and no fix. . Verizon Players

    Time to make another post. The routing during peak hours for ffxiv with Fios customers is literally unbearable. I called my ISP over 4 times made complaints and follow throughs just for the run around. There is no way for me to use any program to fix my packet loss because I am a ps4 player.

    What do we have to do to get a fix? Do i really have to get both SE and a General Manager of Verizon on the phone together? I am a paying customer for over 2 years. Can something get done to fix this?

    If you can't change ISP ( not a guaranteed fix btw as even cox has reports of problems) then you need to VPN. If you have a laptop or a computer near by and a router that supports VPN's then you need to set one up and play on it. This problem has been here since the game launched and I don't think it will ever leave.

    You have to take it upon yourself to fix this, which is unfortunate but that's just how it is if you wanna play.

    Whats unfortunate in my opinion, cause as far as our opinions are on this matter anyway over the past 2 years has meant very little to both sides of the issue, its 'unfortunate' that people still have to ride the roller coaster till they find out that apparently they have to pay more money to play a game that they already pay for. There is a fine line between figuring out you have crappy internet, compared to discovering that a large number of people just like you are having major lag issues at the same time of the day... every day... seven days a week. I'm on this forum today at this time because of lag.

    Same here! I have been a player since launch (through verizon fios) and as of this past week the latency has been nonstop during peak hours, as of today it began at 5pm, the earliest before hand has been 7pm. Is port forwarding a viable option???
