    It doesn't make a ton of sense to save any oGCDs specifically to put in there.
    At the point you've got Grit back on and you're now taking the damage penalty. You want to burn all off your damaging oGCDs while grit is off.
    Plus not using oGCDs on cooldown is a loss in damage without much exception for DRK. Like if you wait just a little bit because you're about to drop grit and the skill will be back up before you go back into grit. "Nothing" is better than waiting a significant portion of a cooldown.

    In dungeons I drop Grit against bosses because they spend a lot of time using pathed attacks & not actually hitting me, pop Shadowskin/wall to eat their bigger attacks. I usually leave it on during trials and raids so the healers don't waste as much MP on me & have more time to DPS the boss. Exceptions for cases like A1S first phase or Goblin packs in A2S where my short term DPS gains outweigh any advantage from staying in Grit.
