How can we make Bards and Machinist better?

That just sounds horrible. I can't even imagine going through the story that many times...surely you at least get cross class skills?

If you look on his profile
he has 4 characters, and the only thing he had to 60 is DRK and a 51 WAR and whatever else he has on the character on the forums lol js.
Unless he pays for more characters on a different account entirely...not sure why anyone would ever do that.

people cleared Binding Coil with DRGs, that doesn't mean their low magic defense compared to all the other jobs weren't a problem back in those days. just because people make the most out of something doesn't mean they don't have any problems.

Except a bard or machinist have been in EVERY SINGLE PROGRESSION GROUP. They've been as omnipresent as warriors and dragoons.

Machinists have issues with RNG and bards have issues with fluidity, but to pretend they're in some awful shape is flat out ignoring reality. The only job not present in progression at all is astrologian, and there are hundreds of pages on that.
