    Pricing after 1.19

    From what I've known:

    - Time needed to turn a gear into materia is a few hours time if worn with satisfied optimal rank.

    - Gear will be constantly disappeared from the market due to materia making, crafters will have to refill the same product into the market time after time. Thus, demand for every single product is greatly increased.

    - As crafters will have to make products over and over again, raw materials will not be staying in their pockets as easily as what we have now. Thus demand for raw material will eventually increase if they use up their storage.

    - Certain widely used materials' selling price to NPC is reduced, encouraging players to toss them into the market.

    - HQ gears will have their actual stat listed as opposed to having stars, people can spot the changes without out-of-game information. Charging them 100x higher for a 15% boost could be unappealing to many.

    - People are crafting "shrinked output" recipes crazily, which means a lot of those materials will be there at the start of 1.19. Personally I can't predict what the outcome of this would be.

Based on the about facts (I hope they are :P),
I'm seeing a lot of competitions thus easier to get items in the market with good prices.

And about the pricing of materia.. as they are made from the actual gear themselves,
they won't be charged cheaper than the average price of the original gear.
They're being used in large amount however, as people will probably try to make a 5 materia mounted gear. I wonder what impact could it made to the overall prices of final products.

    Any thoughts?

What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion.

Sorry I'm not a native English speaker, would it be better if it's named "Item pricing after 1.19"?

May as well added a bonus effect of "OMG they're charging after 1.19?? I have to see what this idiot has to say about it".
More views and maybe more comments made in this thread this way.

    lol true!

But I think the pricing of the materia may also be based on the quantity of the amount of people who use a certain gear. A lot of low level gear being converted into materia will swarm the Bazaar but the difference in price will be each materia's stat since he stated that 2 of the same items being converted into materia may have different stats. It's the higher level gear changed into materia that I'm assuming will be frigging expensive and may easily cost more then the original armor.

    Totally agree with you Jouten.

Lower Tier materia should become more and more inexpensive by time as there'll always be players ranking up,
    turning them into materia.

But I have doubt if the pricing of a materia will actually be more expensive than the original gear.
It'll be greatly related to what exact bonus the materia is giving,
and could be tied to pricing accessories gear like rings as they both serve similar functions.

True but we don't truly know the maximum potential of these Materia's. It's these forbidden one's I'm really in the dark about. Maybe there's some that can truly change a set of armor. Also, I'm wondering if there will be any catalysts that will keep the gear from preventing like in all other F2P mmo's. Honestly, I'm on the fence for either or. Now if we were in the F2P standard I'd hate it because I'd be spending more then $15 a month trying to upgrade my set, but since we are going p2p I'm hoping, that if they go this route, there will be attainable items to prevent them from breaking. This should greatly affect the market place.
