Hi my name is Bob. I am a potential future FFXIV PC player. I have decided to do a little reading on FFXIV because I am considering dropping $25-50 up front and then $13+ per month on it. Please direct me to the media you would have me read which shows the game in a positive light. Maybe some media that has good things to say about the market wards.

if you care about the market more then the combat/gameplay/content then a better question is where are your priorities and why are you not playing the stock market instead

I would think there is plenty of negative media about just about everything that is FFXIV I just chose the market wards because thats what this thread is about.

but thats not the point, the point is people who play games care about the actual gameplay
in MMOs that usualy equates to content and combat, not "how can i sell my gear"

Not everyone cares about those things. I dont even play ANY combat classes in FFXIV anymore. I know several people who enjoy playing the economy in multiple MMOs.

You shouldnt. You clearly are one of the extreme minority of the population that purchased the game that are happy with it. I am talking about NEW customers the ones that have yet to pay out their hard earned money for the game. Those people may do some research on the game before they purchase it. I was wondering if any of these potential customers will have anything besides extremely negative media to read.

Except thinking as an average gamer, I'm not going to look at idiotblogger196's livejournal for a video game review. I'm going to look at metacritic, gamespot, or giantbomb, and none of those sites have any news on the game except what they belched out a year ago.

And they won't have anything new until after the PS3 release.
