    I'm going to try complete uninstall/reinstall and see if it helps. Will edit this with results (currently 8/5/15 04:30EDT)

    05:25am-- uninstalled just fine, reinstall won't work. It did the language selection after running ffxivsetup.exe and instant "yada yada stopped working. Microsoft is searching for a solution to your problem" crap. Downgraded from Win10 back to Win7, thinking maybe one of the little tick-me-off hiccups in Win10 was why it wouldn't reinstall. Even removed AV and net security software. No good, still won't reinstall. Keep getting insta-splat "not working" pop-up in Win7.
