Your fix for Red Scripts did nothing for me.

I was hoping the fix for red scripts would have an effect on my game. It has'nt done anything. My Red Scripts are still as low as anything on my culinarian. Yet they require just as much work as anything else.

This is game is no longer worth it, The crafting added alot of vitality to the weekly grind of the game, Now that it's gone, I'm doing a weeks worth of grinding in hours...

Well it did something for me. It gave me the opportunity to extend towards other, actually decent games. Thanks.

I feel like it's ok now. I only have to do 12 crafts to cap, which isn't too bad.

Well you can't pleased everyone. Bsm and gsm are giving 45 to 55 per turn. In. This is indeed a massive nerf.

Maybe wait a few hours and see how much your next turn in gives you?

It is based on the ingredients and difficulty - first of all, almost all if not ALL of the cooking red scrip items are normal items...where as ALL or almost all of the other jobs have to craft MASTER ONE STAR ITEMS. Those items often contain many, many more expensive crafted bits than the cooking recipes (from other jobs I might add, cooking makes almost all of there own stuff with no reliance on other job crafts) - seems more balanced to me - cooking was right with the amount of scrips and the other jobs were way, way less than they should have been for the base items involved to craft them.

The problem was never the scrip turn in. It was literally, and I mean the denotation of literally, every single other aspect of crafting and gathering after you do the red scrips.

Agreed. SE once again ignore the actual problem.

Don't agree at all. When you are faced with having to farm: (150 okeanis tails, 33 Abalathian rock salt) or (198 amphiptere skins, 330 aurum regis sand, 165 adamantite ore) or, indeed, be able to craft lv56+ mats from THREE other DoHs for your turn-in just to meet the weekly quota --> something is seriously wrong. How you can say it was never a problem astounds me. If you don't throw gil at the market board and actually put in the work to gather materials, then it's a huge amount of effort for very little return.

I'm sure the advice will be, "Wait until it resets and pick a different item" but they are all pretty similar in terns of material requirements. Some even demand you farm and spend blue scrips on materials. It was and is a horrible system with no real point other than to force us all down a path of needlessly punitive "progression".

If you go back and read the thread they responded to, about red scrips not being casual, cost was a big thing. This change helps with that quite a bit. This was an actual problem, even if it did not apply to everyone.

It is now a bit easier for casual crafter/gatherer's to gear up, but for what? They won't able able to afford 2* mats anyway.
